The Crown is a very old coaching house hotel, right in the center of town. Easy access to all routes and amenities the town had to offer. Our room was in the courtyard which was quieter than the main hotel we were led to believe. Ground floor room, so some noise from above was not so good. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was especially big but very comfortable. Not sure about the bath in the bedroom but the shower in the ensuite was big and lovely. Very rustic furniture. Breakfast was adequate but not a lot of choice for the continental breakfast. A bigger cook to order menu. Very convenient parking on site though.

The room original allocated to me in the main inn had bad WIFI and meant that I had to attend a webinar in the bar area to get a connection. Following this the staff were very helpful and moved me to another room which was fabulous and WIFI was fine. If you need WIFI for work. I would suggest you put a note on this when you book so that the property can make sure you have adequate provision. The breakfast was fabulous and a big shout out to the breakfast team, the service was fantastic and the whole team took real pride in the service and food that they were providing. See you again soon.

Centrally situated in Old Amersham, which is picturesque and full of independent shops and quality eating places. The hotel is a fascinating old building, with wooden floors and dark beams. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Great shower too. We ate in Hawkyns restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious! We visited Cliveden and Hughenden Manor during our stay, both of which are only a short drive from The Crown.

The hotel is such a beautiful old building in a historic location. The staff were amazing. Breakfast was great, too. Sara from the reception and Estaban from the breakfast service were very professional and accommodating. Thank you very much for looking after us during our stay. We left the hotel with a smile on our faces. Rooms have AirCon, beds were big and comfy. The shower pressure was great.

Friendly welcome from helpful staff. Stayed in ground floor Bailey Room in new part at back of main hotel which was compact and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely breakfast with good selection of continental and cooked food. Free parking and fabulous location. Beautiful old hotel with a very pretty courtyard.
